Orkestra del Sol's Summer Tour Dates Annouced!!

WELCOME BACK, loyal fans, to the world of ORKESTRA DEL SOL! Where HAVE YOU BEEN? It’s US – your GREAT FRIENDS that you see only once or twice a year but turn out to be like NINE BROTHERS and a SISTER to you, and we might actually be relatives you don’t yet know about who move into a house down the road and then you discover you QUITE LIKE us as individual people.
And we have news. Yes, ACTUAL NEWS! We’ve been away in the Costa DEL SOL (of our imaginations) thinking up all sorts of wired and wonderful tunes for our NEW SHOW for two hundred and ten, and what’s more, we have been successful! We have dissembled rhythms, notes and excessellent harmonies to make CONTAGIOUS DANCE MUSIC - (excellent for whistling) - for you!
But what’s more, Ladies and Gentlemen, Orkestra del Sol’s new show is a musical GAME! It’s Top Trumps! Yes, TOP TRUMPS…. with REAL PEOPLE (us) instead of cards!
A musical game of play-offs, oneupmanship, unnecessarily complicated routines, dubious links and CHALLENGES where you, the audience, see us, ORKESTRA DEL SOL, pit our musical wits against each other to see who will be the show’s TOP TRUMP. Get it? … You will.
Awe and spectacle…hilarity and insinuation…. buffooning and midwifery… all will be revealed in our continuing GLOBAL TOUR this summer, which begins in GLASGOW’S famous ORAN MOR on APRIL 3rd and other places as well!
